A. Spiritualist follow several principles, which can be found here. The two most important beliefs that unite spiritualist are that there is no death, just a transformation from one state to another and a belief in the Golden Rule: “Do unto other and you would have them do unto you.
Q. What is a Sunday Service like?
A. Services are held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month @11:00am. Attendees may sit in meditation, and/or receive Reiki healing. Services support a sense of community through singing and a lesson. As part of the service Mediums deliver messages to the audience. Service is followed by a social that includes food and drink.
Q. I am not a member of the church, but I am curious. Can I attend one of your services?
A. All are welcome to attend church services and/or events and workshops.
Q. Is there handicapped parking at the church?
A. People are encouraged to use the ample on-street parking. However, there are several parking spaces next to the church that can accommodate those with physical limitations.
Q. Is there child care during Sunday Service?
A. No, there is no child care per se, but the 3rd Sunday’s Service there is a Children’s Lyceum where kids 6-13 are invited to join the fun class led by Paulette Glover, MEd. There is dialogue, play, a lesson, and a snack. Parents do not need to be members. Donations are requested of $10 per family. Materials are provided. Q. Can I get a psychic or mediumship reading at the church?
A. The first Sunday Service of the month is Medium Sunday where readings are available at $1 per minute for 15 or 20 minute sessions with the proceeds donated to the church for its upkeep and mission.
Q. I’ve always felt highly intuitive, how can I learn more?
A. The church routinely hosts intuitive and healing development classes and workshops. These classes are designed to help beginning and advanced students explore a range of topics that allow the student to become more aware of their own pre-existing nature.
